About

I'm a professor of cognitive neuroscience in Montréal. My lab studies how sleep turns the day's experiences into lasting memories — with EEG, carefully designed naps, and a lot of patience. Twenty years in, the brain's nightly filing system still surprises me; I spend most of my time mentoring the researchers who will figure out the rest.
